Mi Casa Restaurante San Jose 

The authentic “cocina mexicana” is found at “Mi Casa Restaurante”, a restaurant  with more than 20 years of history.

It is located near Misión San José del Cabo and has become a landmark in the Heart of 23400 District.

Alberto, Chilango by birth and of Oaxacan family , revives the memories of his childhood when he helped his mother in the kitchen, with garlic, peanuts, and chiles.

It was life itself that put him in the kitchen. The desire of growth was what made him look for new horizons, and it was in Baja California Sur where he had a chance to succeed. Here, he represents the culinary knowledge acquired at home that grew with every step he took in the gastronomic world.

A hard-working man, he worked in several kitchens where he perfected his technique and developed leadership, which made him into the Executive Chef of “Mi Casa Restaurante” where each dish honors the rich tradition of the various Mexican cuisines:

The “sopes de cochinita” from Yucatán, a thick tortilla containing a bed of black beans and pulled pork “cochinita pibil”  with authentic “achiote”.

The local “tiradito Choyero”, catch fish with soy sauce with slices of red onion, cilantro, and sesame seeds.

And this is just the beginning  of a journey filled with  amazing flavors, traditions and of course chile and corn called Mexico.
