The World Wide Technology Championship Returns to Los Cabos!
The countdown has begun for the start of the first round of the World Wide Technology Championship, which will celebrate its nineteenth year as the most traditional and historic PGA TOUR tournament in Mexico. For the third consecutive year, the tournament will take place from November 3 to 9 at El Cardonal Golf Course, designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design, located in Diamante Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The PGA TOUR, which features the world’s best golfers competing on iconic golf courses, will bring together 120 players competing in 72 holes of stroke play as part of the FedExCup season. All four rounds will be televised and distributed globally through the extensive PGA TOUR network, including Golf Channel in the United States and Golf Channel Latin America in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Internationally, PGA TOUR coverage is available in over 220 countries and territories, in 26 languages through 44 broadcast and digital partners.
In this third edition of the tournament in Los Cabos, spectators will enjoy new experiences such as VIP hospitality, a food and art festival, additional Pro-Ams, live music, health and wellness events, kids’ activities, sponsor activations, and much more.

The World Wide Technology Championship is Mexico’s pioneering PGA TOUR event with 18 years of proud history and tradition. 120 PGA TOUR professionals will compete for a purse of US$6.2 million over four days in 72 holes of stroke play at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal course at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, located in the magnificent destination of Los Cabos, Mexico. ABOUT THE WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Wide Technology Championship, an official PGA TOUR event, will be played for the second consecutive year in Los Cabos from November 7th to 10th at the El Cardonal Golf Club, designed by Tiger Woods at Diamante Cabo San Lucas. The 17-year-old tournament annually brings together 132 professional golfers and has undoubtedly been a pioneer for professional golf in Mexico. The 72-hole stroke play championship made golf history in 2007 when it became the first PGA TOUR event held outside the United States and Canada. In 2023, Erik Van Rooyen (-27) won the tournament by two strokes, closing with an eagle on the 18th hole. Previous champions include Fred Funk (2007), Brian Gay (2008), Mark Wilson (2009), Cameron Beckman (2010), Johnson Wagner (2011), John Huh (2012), Harris English (2013), Charley Hoffman (2014), Graeme McDowell (2015), Pat Perez (2016), Patton Kizzire (2017), Matt Kuchar (2018), Brendon Todd (2019), Viktor Hovland (2020 and 2021), and Russell Henley (2022). Throughout its history, the event has generated over $4 million in charitable contributions.
