Ánima Village celebrated its opening with an intimate private event that welcomed more than 1,500 guests, bringing together local communities, partners, creatives, and international visitors for an evening that captured the spirit of this new destination in Los Cabos.
Designed around emotion and sensory experience, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect Ánima Village’s core values and pillars. Conceived as a destination that embraces its natural landscape, Ánima Village was created for the community, offering elevated experiences across brands, art, culture, and gastronomy.
As an invitation to gather, toast, and explore the village for the first time, guests were welcomed with Veuve Clicquot champagne. The open-air design, architecture, and gardens set the tone for a night defined by meaningful encounters and unexpected moments — including the rain, which only added to the celebration.
Among the special attendees were Shanina Shaik, Tessa Brooks, Gizele Oliveira, Sara Sampaio, and Scarlett Rose Leithold, alongside brand leaders and key partners who came together to mark this milestone.
The culinary experience unfolded through the talent of celebrated chefs from Los Cabos, each contributing their own signature perspective to the destination. The evening featured Javier Galindo (La Lupita), Eliana Padilla (Yaya Restaurant, Chileno Bay), Yvan Mucharraz (Comal, Chileno Bay), and Xavier Salomon, Executive Chef at Montage, alongside his team Eric Arellano and Alejandro Euroza.
As the night progressed, the Casa Dragones bar emerged as a central gathering point. There, the “Aura” cocktail, created exclusively for Ánima Village by award-winning mixologist Alfredo Pineda, invited guests to slow down, reconnect, and savor the essence of the celebration.

Art and movement played a defining role throughout the evening. In their first-ever appearance in Mexico, “SOMOS”, performed by the duo Carla Cervantes Caro and Sandra Egido Ibáñez of Lo Siento Mucho, captivated guests through an exploration of presence, movement, and beauty.
Although Diego Vega Solarza’s performance “1Q90” was scheduled for the evening, it could not take place due to the rain. The dance piece is expected to return to Ánima Village in the near future.
Along Pasaje de los Sueños, guests reconnected with a sense of childlike wonder through the magic and illusion of Diego Winburn, while Lea Wonder inspired reflection with profound words and poetry, creating real-time haikus sparked by each interaction.
A key moment of the evening was the debut of Arte Abierto Baja, Ánima Village’s experimental platform for contemporary art. Guests encountered the inaugural installation by internationally acclaimed Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas, created on-site using locally sourced materials. Conceived as a sculptural self-portrait of Ánima Village, the piece reflects Cabo’s mineral landscape, building culture, and collective energy.

As the night continued, Javier Sordo Madaleno shared heartfelt words on the vision and intention behind Ánima Village, moments before the Los Angeles League of Musicians filled Plaza de las Artes with a vibrant blend of cumbia sonidera and boleros. La Lupita served their legendary tacos, paired with Baja Brewing, creating the perfect late-night ritual.
The evening reached its peak with a DJ set by Alonso Rivero inside Arte Abierto, closing the night with a shared rhythm, memorable energy, and a lasting sense of connection.
