Medano Beach
Considered one of the most popular swimmable beaches in all of Los Cabos, Medano Beach is situated smack dab in the hub of Cabo San Lucas which features bright lights, soft, white-sand beaches, and perfectly turquoise waters. Tourists are attracted by the waters, which offer a variety of activities including swimming, snorkeling, jet-skiing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Onshore, volleyball games are played around the clock while adventurous ones will charter a parasailing trip to get high in the sky. Playa El Medano’s electricity is contagious, as it’s the centerpiece amid hustling and bustling restaurants and bars on the beach, widely considered home base for many a day’s activities. Vendors on the beach sell all sorts of wares, including everything from silver jewelry and blankets to sombreros and trinkets. You could literally spend all day at the beach and still not have done half of the fun things offered. Another fine point of the beach is the sweeping views of the rock formations of Land’s End, including El Arco. Hotels and resorts that range from family-friendly to adults-only frame the beach and restaurants. For placing yourself right in the center of all the action, top-notch hotels and resorts on the beach include Villa La Estancia Resort, Hotel Riu Palace Baja California and Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa.
