ABOUT THE WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Wide Technology Championship, an official PGA TOUR event, will be played for the second consecutive year in Los Cabos from November 7th to 10th at the El Cardonal Golf Club, designed by Tiger Woods at Diamante Cabo San Lucas. The 17-year-old tournament annually brings together 132 professional golfers and has undoubtedly been a pioneer for professional golf in Mexico. The 72-hole stroke play championship made golf history in 2007 when it became the first PGA TOUR event held outside the United States and Canada. In 2023, Erik Van Rooyen (-27) won the tournament by two strokes, closing with an eagle on the 18th hole. Previous champions include Fred Funk (2007), Brian Gay (2008), Mark Wilson (2009), Cameron Beckman (2010), Johnson Wagner (2011), John Huh (2012), Harris English (2013), Charley Hoffman (2014), Graeme McDowell (2015), Pat Perez (2016), Patton Kizzire (2017), Matt Kuchar (2018), Brendon Todd (2019), Viktor Hovland (2020 and 2021), and Russell Henley (2022). Throughout its history, the event has generated over $4 million in charitable contributions.

ABOUT EL CARDONAL BY TGR DESIGN
El Cardonal Golf Course is Diamante's second championship course and the first golf course designed by Tiger Woods. Influenced by the old-style courses of Southern California where Tiger grew up playing, he created a course that brings back the need for strategy in golf, with multiple options for playing each hole. The course is long enough to challenge expert players but open enough to offer options for higher handicap players. It truly is a fun test for golfers of all levels.
