What is Sabores San José?
Sabores San José is a weekly celebration of the culinary richness found in the heart of downtown San José del Cabo. Every Tuesday evening, the historic center comes alive with a walking food experience that highlights the region’s seasonal ingredients, local producers, and diverse restaurant scene.
But it’s more than just great food — it’s a cultural journey. Live traditional music and folkloric dance fill the streets, creating an immersive experience full of color, flavor, and authentic Baja soul.
When & Where
Every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, key streets in the downtown area — including Calle Grande, Morelos, and Álvaro Obregón — are closed to traffic, turning the town center into a vibrant pedestrian-only zone. Locals and visitors are invited to stroll through the charming streets, enjoy live music, taste exclusive dishes at special prices, and soak in the local culture.

A rondalla is a traditional string ensemble featuring guitars, requintos, and soft vocals. Originally from Spain and popular across Mexico, these groups perform romantic, nostalgic songs that add a warm and heartfelt touch to any evening.
