In Los Cabos, conservation it's just a trend. It’s a mindset woven into the rhythm of daily life. Los Cabos invites you to explore in ways that are both fun, meaningful and accessible for travelers of all ages.

Here, sustainability is not a trend. It’s a commitment that shows up in protected marine areas, thoughtful tourism practices and community-led efforts to preserve the region’s most precious ecosystems. It’s something families can experience together, creating moments that spark curiosity, connection and care for the world around us.

A Destination Designed for Discovery

With Baja Expeditions, guests are invited into a journey where adventure, education and sustainability come together in one unforgettable experience.

The journey begins with private transportation from San José del Cabo, including a scenic flight aboard a small commuter plane, followed by an hour transfer that sets the tone for the adventure ahead. Once you arrive, guests are welcomed into a glamping-style stay that blends luxury with a deep respect for the surrounding environment.

Every detail is thoroughly designed with sustainability in mind. From providing reef-safe sunscreen and gear like boots and utility vests to embracing a leave-it-better-than-you-found-it philosophy, the experience encourages families to explore responsibly. This is where adventure meets purpose, creating space for guests to explore responsibly and connect more deeply with their surroundings.

With a minimum stay of four days and three nights, guests have time to fully settle in and explore. Each stay includes three to four guided experiences, with whale watching as a highlight of the journey.

During the season, guests may find themselves remarkably close to these gentle giants, witnessing mothers and their newborn calves as they learn to swim, surface and breathe in open waters. These moments are not only awe-inspiring, they help bring these magnificent creatures into vivid focus.

Complemented by other daytime activities, such as kayaking or biking through breathtaking landscapes, the experience offers a well-rounded way to connect with the environment.  Along the way, you gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystems that make this region so special.

It’s an experience that turns curiosity into appreciation and adventure into learning.

Beyond the guest experience, Baja Expeditions is deeply committed to protecting the region and supporting the local community. While these efforts are let by local organizations and residents, guests are invited to take part and experience them firsthand. This includes opportunities to learn about sea turtle conservation and the care that goes into protecting these species, as well as protecting local resources and supporting the local community, such as nearby fishermen.

Meals are also part of the story. With three fresh, locally sourced meals included each day, guests can gather, refuel and connect over regional flavors. By the end of dinner, the experience deepens with a talk focused on whale conservation and ongoing research, offering insight into the marine life that defines the region. Sustainability here is not something you observe; it’s something you take part in.
