This month, visitors to Los Cabos have two unique opportunities for an unforgettable evening under the stars at Sunset Monalisa. 

Those coming into town at the end of the month can join the celebration as Sunset Monalisa, one of the area’s most spectacular dining experiences, hosts its 15th anniversary party on Thursday, Oct. 27th. Perched atop a cliff overlooking the Bay of Cabo San Lucas, Sunset Monalisa has been an icon in Los Cabos since opening in 2007 and was named “One of the Top 5 Coolest Restaurants in the World” by the Express Tribune.

The renowned 50 Best Discovery member, Chef Alfredo Villanueva from Villa Torél-Bodegas de Santo Tomás will collaborate with Sunset Monalisa’s own Michelin Star-trained Chef Héctor Morales on a special five-course menu for the anniversary dinner. Combining their years of experience and culinary creativity, the duo guarantees a unique experience featuring the outstanding flavors of Baja California Sur. 

Guests have the option to pair their meal with wine from Bodegas Santo Tomas, the first winery established in Baja California by Dominican Friars in the 1700s, and all will be treated to a toast of Moët & Chandon champagne. A performance by the Three Tenors accompanied by a fireworks display against the backdrop of The Arch will cap off the memorable evening. 

Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, Sunset Monalisa’s open-air, sprawling layout allows for unobstructed ocean views and, of course, is a remarkable place to watch the sunset. Throughout its tenure, the legendary restaurant has hosted countless weddings, world-renowned food critics and fashionable celebrities.
