On Friday, March 8, 2024, we celebrated the inauguration of Il Splendido, marking the beginning of a new era in Italian/Mediterranean cuisine. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was an emblematic moment, officially opening this exceptional culinary enclave.

Claudia Velo, a renowned host of the destination, was the master of ceremonies at the successful Grand Opening. With her charisma and professionalism, Claudia introduced the guests of honor and marked the beginning of this exciting culinary stage in Palmilla Dunes, thanking the honored guests, special guests, media, friends, and family for being part of this important moment.

In a touching gesture, Stu also took the opportunity to thank his wife and partner in this adventure, Florianne, who has stood by his side, supporting him every step of the way. His gratitude towards her underscored the importance of family support in his achievements and ventures. He extended his gratitude to his partners, friends, and everyone who made this opening possible, affirming that "unity is strength." He mentioned each one for the importance of their contribution to this great achievement, highlighting the joint effort and collaboration as pillars of this successful launch. Additionally, with enthusiasm, he added that he was ready to face the next culinary challenge.

The evening continued with the heartfelt words of Mario Fernández, co-owner of the new restaurant and developer of Palmilla Dunes, who expressed his gratitude to the destination and envisioned a prosperous future for gastronomy in Los Cabos, significantly contributing to the culinary proposal of the region. Recalling the beginnings of this project, Mario shared, “The idea for this restaurant began with local conversations two years ago.
