Visit Pescadero

The small village of Pescadero (Fishmonger) at Km 69, only 15 minutes south of Todos Santos on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula, lives up to its name in embodying a relaxing, quiet soul on the sea. The small village entices visitors to take a dunk in safe, swimmable beaches, but also attracts dedicated watermen to sample the surfing in Cerritos Beach and San Pedrito Beach. El Pescadero, as it is known to the locals, draws explorers looking for a getaway from Cabo San Lucas. Visit on a day trip and try your hand at fishing, or partake in other activities and attractions like gobbling down chocolate clams and taking shade under the picturesque palapa huts, replete with purchasable art and inexpensive roadside beer. Though you can leave luxury behind here, there are a few local hotels, RV campgrounds and restaurants available for the feral- minded looking to truly experience the outback and coastal life one on one. This is the place to be if you want to see the Baja Peninsula on a natural level make the most out of your experience.
